Herb Market 2021

zolynu turgus 900x600 03On June 19, a few days before the miraculous Saint John’s Night, the Herb Market will take place in the yard of Vilnius County Adomas Mickevičius Public Library.
This event is a Vilnius tradition reminiscent of the beginning of the 20th century, revived since 2007. The mid-summer market traded herbs, flowers, and other natural products, which at the time - approaching the shortest night of the year - revealed their best qualities.
This year, the Herb Market will offer herbs, flowers, spices, natural body care, culinary and other products from nature, as well as folk art.
In addition to the fair, visitors will also find a rich cultural program: concerts, traditional songs, lectures, a quiz, and entertainment for children.

12.00 Concert of folklore band “Rana”
13.00 Lecture about plant drying by Rasa Buslavičienė (“Žolynų namai”)
