Ceramics Workshops, which have attracted a lot of interest lately, will be held at our Center again!

We invite you to ceramic workshops which will be held on every Wednesday at 5.30 p.m. starting from the 9^th of October. Come and learn about this traditional craft and make your own handmade clay pieces using various techniques.

Greet autumn and winter wearing your handmade woollen pieces – scarf, hat and mittens! We are organising felt-making course, which are perfect for beginners! Come and learn to make your very own felt masterpiece.

Would you like to learn authentic Lithuanian multipart songs, Sutartinės?
Sutartinės are on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity since 2010 and have a meditative character.

On 22nd of February at 5 p.m. we are making Shrovetide masks together with children and their parents!

The Shrovetide is one of the most favourite calendar celebrations in Lithuania, which cannot be imaginable without colourful and charming masks. The majority of those masks used to reflect various animals, such as horses, goats, cranes and others. Each mask used to have something unique in its structure or decor and had its own meaning and purpose as well.

All those masks usually had been carved out of the wood, yet due to a lengthy process new techniques became popular afterwards and new materials, such as paper, carton, fur, appeared.
